Troon Portland Members Compete in Four Nations

Two Troon Portland members, Dave McIntyre and Andrew Kerr, recently competed in the Four Nations Curling competition as part of the Scotland Team.

The competition, which took place at The Flower Bowl in Preston, features teams from Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland.

A very sociable weekend interspersed with some good curling resulted in wins for the Scottish men against the English men, Scotland women against England women and Scotland against Ireland mixed rinks.

Three trophies from a possible four was not a bad result !!

Next year the completion will be held in Ayr and Troon Portland members are encouraged to apply for selection when it appears on the Scottish Curling website in the Autumn.
