Troon Portland wins Harry Hart Trophy

were the highest placed Ayrshire Province rink in the annual Harry Hart match against 12th Renfrewshire Province, and were awarded the trophy. They beat a team from Gourock Curling Club 7-3 to help bring the trophy back to Ayr.
Dalmellington, another Ayrshire Province team, peeled with Between the Sheets CC (thanks to an excellent 3 in the last end) and an Ayr CC team lost to Dalry. Overall, Ayr Province were +2 shots, so won the trophy.
Harry Hart was the hirer of rowing boats off the shore at Largs and he presented a cup for annual competition between the Ayrshire Province and the Renfrewshire 12th Province.
