Norma Cairns Smith Salver

16 curlers travelled to Stranraer on February 6th for the second of our one-day bonspiels to play for the Norma Cairns Smith Salver. Each team played 3 five-end games, with Aileen McCorkell’s rink of Aileen, Mara Lindsay, Alison Young and Lizanne McMurrich emerging as victors, wining all of their games. It was a very successful day, with as well as keenly contested curling, everyone enjoyed coffee and shortbread between the first two games, and a soup and sandwich lunch after game 2.
