Andrew Kerr elected to Vice President of Scottish Curling
At the recent RCCC annual general meeting, our own Andrew Kerr was elected to the position of Vice President.
Andrew has worked tirelessly behind the scenes for a number of years and fully deserves this recognition. Andrew has previously served as President of Ayr Curling Club and has been a member of Ayr Development Group, President and Match Secretary of Troon Portland Curling Club. He is currently Secretary and Treasurer of Dundonald Curling Club, and also serves as a Director of Ayr Ice Rink.
Andrew is well known in curling circles as he has been President of the Ayrshire Province and Ayrshire Area Representative on the Area Standing and Membership Development Committees.
Andrew was selected for the Strathcona tour of Canada in 2013 and was a courier for the Canadian incoming tour of 2018. He has also represented Scotland in a few Four Nations Championships.
With Corrie Lawrence already being elected to Lady Vice President, at the RCCC Ladies Branch AGM, Ayr Curling Club now has both Vice Presidents for the forthcoming season which is something we should all be proud of.
