Sheriff’s Medal Points Competition
On Sunday 26th February 15 members of the club contested the Points Competition. Over two hours, the participants tested their skills in six disciplines, including drawing, striking and guarding. The Medal was won by David Kerr with 26 points, repeating his success in 2016. Second was Ted Marshall on 21 points, while the highest lady was Aileen McCorkell on 20 points. While the rate of success in achieving the required skills was very variable, everyone agreed that it was a good test and very enjoyable.
