Closing Bonspiel
Thirty-two members of the club took to the ice on Monday, the 13th March to celebrate the end of another successful curling season. The Closing Bonspiel was played as four games of two ends each, with players rotating positions between each of the games to give everyone experience of playing in each position in a team. At the end of the evening, the winners, with 8 points from 4 wins, were the team skipped by Davie Kerr with Mike McNeill, Derek Gilbertson and Graham Spence. The Vice- President completed a hat trick of ‘Wooden Spoons’ in the Bonspiels played this season. Better luck next season Ewan.
